Sitar is a fascinating north indian string  instrument. It have 7 main strings and and Jala stings / Tharam strings . It can produce complex sounds that other fretted string instruments short not.

        My favorite instrument is a sitar. Pandith Ravishnkar , pandith Nikil Banarji , Usthad Vilayaathkan are world famous sitar players. It was created by Amir kushru.  A Misrab is used to play sitar. There are many parts of sitar. They are,

1. Tuning pegs
2. Upper resonating chamber
3. Nuts
4. Strings
5. Movable fret
6. Bridge etc.
